Lock Down Gnome-Panels in Ubuntu 10.04

To get started, press Alt-F2 on your keyboard, then type the command below and click Run: gconf-editor Next, expand apps –> panel –> global and check the box ‘locked_down’ then close out. apps --> panel --> global Users will be prevented from deleting or making changes to the panels.
